As a part of an interview with Kara Swisher, Tim Cook addresses his succession. As the interview concludes, Swisher asks Cook if he will nonetheless be at Apple in 10 years’ time.

Cook says that he in all probability gained’t be operating Apple in 10 years, though the “date is not in sight.” He clearly gave no hints about whom is about to exchange him as CEO.

Swisher: What would you do in case you weren’t operating Apple

Cook: I don’t have a clue as a result of I like this firm a lot, that it’s arduous to think about my life with out it. And so I don’t suppose I’ll know that till after I’m not right here. Because I feel I’ll run so quick that I’ll by no means actually give it some thought till I’m not operating anymore. Does that make any sense?

Swisher: Maybe simply go on trip?
