The Florida-based tech firm’s CEO, Hovhannes Avoyan, confirmed this new standalone application on Thursday, Jan. 5.
“Today we unveiled SketchAI, a new standalone app by @Picsart and the latest addition to our growing suite of generative AI tools,” he announced via his official Twitter post.

He added that the new SketchAI app can transform any sketch or image into a piece of art.

According to Mashable‘s latest report, the new SketchAI app has tools to make users’ sketches into a work of art.

It even has presets that are based on the styles of da Vinci, Claude Monet, and other historical artists.

If you are interested in using the new SketchAI App, you can generate your first five images for free. After that, you need to pay $69.99 per or $17.99 per month, or $5.99 per week.

However, BuzzFeed News recently reported that these AI art apps are being criticized by real artists.
Aside from privacy concerns, artists also dislike them because these tools are considered to be “unethically trained.”
Digital artists said that these AI-powered apps rely on databases of real artworks to transform sketches.
