This new version is integrated with the new Eye Contact feature.

“Eye Contact allows you to look somewhere else but on camera, it will look like you’re looking right at your web-cam,” said NVIDIA in its official YouTube video.

The new Eye Contact feature relies on artificial intelligence to detect the user’s eye movements.

If your eyes are not looking at the camera, the AI-powered feature will automatically overlay a new pair of eyes over your own.

This leads to a deepfake effect. But, fake eyes look realistic since NVIDIA developed millions of eye color and lighting combinations to match the real eyes of its users.

As of writing, the feature is still in a beta format. This means that issues are expected to happen until the enhancement is finalized.
