The latest music video of rising pop star Olivia Rodrigo was filmed on Apple iPhone 15 Pro. Rodrigo has been spilling her guts all over the world with the recent release of her second album, “Guts.”

Now, she continues to promote her album with her latest single and music video titled “Get Him Back!” However, this was no ordinary music video as it was filmed on iPhone 15 Pro, which Apple unveiled on Tuesday.

According to TechCrunch, the Gen Z icon was one of the very first people who had their hands on the new iPhone.

The video showcases the device’s impressive camera capabilities, particularly in the realm of editing, wherein Olivia Rodrigo ingeniously multiplies herself for dramatic effect.

One striking feature of the video is how it strategically blurs the focus on the subject, potentially leveraging a new portrait mode function, allowing users to toggle focus. Additionally, the video prominently displays the iPhone 15 Pro’s advanced three-lens system.

The Pro model boasts a 77mm capability, while the Pro Max takes it a step further with a 5x telephoto camera, enabling shots at an expansive 120mm focal length. In addition to the regular and wide-angle lenses, these contribute to the video’s dynamic visual storytelling.

For filmmakers wielding the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the ability to directly transfer high-resolution data to a Mac or external storage drive via Capture One is a valuable asset. This functionality proves essential for artists seeking meticulous detail akin to Rodrigo’s production.

Apple Introduces iPhone 15 Pro

Apple on Tuesday introduced the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, featuring aerospace-grade titanium construction that prioritizes both durability and lightness, making them the lightest Pro models from Apple to date.

These redesigned devices showcase sleek contoured edges and an adaptable Action button, allowing users to tailor their iPhone experience to their preferences.

The camera capabilities receive a substantial boost, offering the equivalent of seven professional lenses with exceptional image quality. This enhancement includes an advanced 48MP main camera and supports an impressive 24MP default setting for high-resolution images.

Additionally, users can explore the next generation of portrait photography with improved Focus and Depth Control and enhancements to Night mode and Smart HDR. The iPhone 15 Pro Max exclusively features a new 5x Telephoto camera, elevating photography opportunities.

The upgraded USB‑C connector delivers USB 3 speeds, a remarkable 20x faster than USB 2. That, coupled with new video formats, unlocks powerful professional workflows previously unattainable.

Furthermore, the iPhone 15 Pro lineup builds on Apple’s satellite infrastructure by introducing Roadside Assistance via satellite, ensuring users can access help even when they encounter vehicle issues in remote locations.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be offered in four finishes: black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium. Pre-orders commence on September 15, with availability starting on September 22.

“This is the most pro lineup we have ever created, with a state-of-the-art titanium design, the best iPhone camera system yet that enables game-changing new workflows, and the A17 Pro chip, which ushers in a new chapter of performance and games never before seen on iPhone,” said Greg Joswiak, senior vice president of Apple’s Worldwide Marketing.
