It’s summer sale season. Between Amazon Prime Day, Target Circle Week, Best Buy Black Friday in July, and Walmart Plus Week, there’s another sale going on worth getting excited about: the All-Clad Seconds Sale.
The All-Clad VIP Seconds Sale is run by Home and Cook Sales, an authorized reseller for All-Clad and several other cookware brands.
You might be wondering: didn’t that just happen? It did, last month. But All-Clad is running a second Factory Seconds sale, this time called the VIP Seconds Event. Like the previous sale, it’s a great chance to get All-Clad’s fantastic cookware at a better price, but it will come with a few bumps and bruises. But we think those are well worth owning your own All-Clad collection, especially since you can save up to 70 percent on All-Clad’s pots, pans, and utensils. What Are Factory Seconds?
Factory Seconds featured in the sale have (usually) minor imperfections, like a scuff on the pan, a misaligned name stamp, or merely a dented box. Every product on the website lists details about the imperfection.
While the blemishes may vary, the merchant says all of the cookware will perform as intended. We’ve used a dozen Factory Seconds pots and pans, and they’ve all worked exactly as advertised. Just remember that all sales are final.

The Essential is one of our favorite pans. We find it works well for all kinds of tasks, from sauté to even popping it into the oven, and its high walls keep grease and splatter out of the kitchen.
WIRED writer Scott Gilbertson owns and loves this pan. He says the steep side walls make it like a saucepan in the shape of a skillet—which might sound strange, but he confirms works great for a variety of cooking.

You truly can’t go wrong with a high-quality stainless steel frying pan like you’ll find at All-Clad. If you are used to nonstick, you’ll have to get used to cooking without it, but you’ll find it’s worth it—good stainless steel provides more heat, and fewer hot spots, and is honestly easier once you master it.

This set has everything a budding baker needs, at a great price. While we haven’t tested this set, it comes with two round cake pans, a half-sheet pan, a one-pound loaf pan, and a nonstick cooling rack.
