Twitter has been engaged on a number of new options lately, and now we have lined a few of them right here in the previous couple of weeks. Now the social community is considering implementing emoji reactions for different tweets, just as Facebook does for posts.

As famous by The Verge, Twitter has been sending out a survey to a small variety of customers wherein the corporate exhibits a brand new response system that is likely to be added to the social community. The design is comparable to Facebook’s reactions, which let customers react to a put up with an emoji — together with pleased, unhappy, and offended faces.

In this survey, Twitter exhibits some mockups of this new response system and asks customers which one they like. In one of many photos, there are the next reactions: Like, Funny, Interesting, Sad, Awesome, Support, and Angry. In one other idea, the Awesome response makes use of a fireplace emoji as a substitute of a stunned face, whereas the Support response exhibits raised arms as a substitute of a hugging emoji.

Twitter can also be searching for a manner to let customers make it clear that they dislike a tweet, whereas additionally caring about how customers will really feel about this function. In one other query within the survey, the corporate asks how the consumer would react to receiving a downvote or dislike on Twitter. One of the solutions out there is “I may hesitate to Tweet in the future for fear of receiving negative reactions.”

It’s value noting that this hasn’t been applied on Twitter up to now, and it’s unclear whether or not the corporate will truly add this to the social community, which is why they’re asking customers what they give thought to the function.
