Both the Sony Playstation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X / S gaming consoles will be back in stock at Walmart today, Mar. 18.

A spokesperson for the retail store stated that Walmart will have the consoles available at 11:30 a.m. PT or 2:30 p.m. ET for the Xbox Series X / S and 12:00 p.m. PT or 3:00 p.m. ET for the PS5. Stocks may not last long.

Xbox Series X and PS5 restock

According to The Verge, Walmart plans to inventory the PS5, the PS5 Digital Edition, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X gaming consoles.

The price will depend on the console that you purchase. The PS5 will cost you $400, while the Xbox Series X / S will cost you $300.

If you wish to purchase a PS5 console, there are a few additional items that you could add to your cart so you can get the most out of your new console.

You can pick up a second DualSense controller, which is needed for any in-person multiplayer action. It is best that early adopters also subscribe to PlayStation Plus, which will give you some perks, like accessing the PlayStation Plus Collection.

If you are going to purchase either an Xbox Series X or an Xbox Series S, an additional controller is likely a good purchase.

Unlike the PS5, you can purchase up to 1TB SSD expansion to add to the base storage of Xbox as you can purchase a 512GB SSD for the Series S and 1TB on the Series X, but it will not come cheap.

If you have issues deciding on what games to purchase for the console, you can always purchase a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, giving you access to a lot of digital games and access to Xbox Live Gold.
