Xbox Insiders is Now Here! But, Here’s a Catch

Game enthusiasts and industry personnel walk between the Microsoft XBox and the Sony PlayStation exhibits at the Annual Gaming Industry Conference E3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 16, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. The Los Angeles Convention Center will be hosting the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) which focuses on gaming systems and interactive entertainment, featuring introductions to new products and technologies.

According to VG247‘s latest report, the latest Xbox Insiders option is currently available on the Manage Queue page of Xbox’s official website. The new capability was confirmed by Eden Marie, an Xbox engineer.

“Hey, Xbox Insiders! Did you notice these changes rolling out now?” she asked via her official Twitter account.

“Suspend in the queue will let you download at full speed while making sure your game remains resumable (or quick resume-able on Series X|S). New banners in the Full Library will take you to more useful categories!” she added.

Her latest tweet was able to generate more than 390 likes, 10 quote tweets, and 50 retweets.

On the other hand, a user on the comment section asked if Microsoft and Xbox changed the layouts in the Game Pass and Games with Gold sections of the Full Library. The Xbox engineer also confirmed that the company has indeed changed the Gold sections.

How Xbox Insiders work

The new feature is currently available on Xbox consoles including the latest Series X and Series S.

However, it suspends older games so that players can download the new titles at higher speeds. If you are worried that your games will be deleted, Marie confirmed that the suspended titles will remain reusable or quick resume-able.
